This has the look of a much higher priced "mini" u-lock. It looks great in person and seems to work well enough, I just wouldn't expect it to hold up to a serious attack like the much higher priced mini u-lock. The other thing to note is the size, this is still a u-lock, but it's not that big, this can make it a challenge to use to lock up, depending on your bike and what you want to lock to.

My initial opinion of my Explore bike is 100% positive. First it was shipped quickly, well packaged, easily assembled with the included tools. Initially everything has worked out of the box with only a minor adjustments to the front brake calipers. My ride time has been limited due to weather, my impressions so far is that it feels solid and the motor has no issues pushing my 200 plus pound's. So far my rides have all been in pedal assist levels 1-3 and I found the controller to be predictable and the bike to be comfortable.
Ride performance, like many electrical bikes, was clean, smooth, and comfortable thanks to its front suspension to smooth out bumps. Shock absorption level could be adjusted for increased pedaling efficiency. The motor's 500W of (nominal) power was strong, holding a 43% advantage over both my dad's Metakoo Cybertrack 100 and my Googo SY26 mountain eBikes. That meant a very sudden, rapid speed increase that could feel out of control at times, but my mom had previously handled the similarly-powered BK6 like a champ after a few minutes of riding. So, I expect any rider to be able to adjust to it as well. 500W felt much zippier and smoother than my Googo's 350W motor and definitely handled hills with less effort. Shifting between gears -- both mechanically and between the Power Assist Levels (PAS) -- was smooth and effortless, but hang on to your seat when set to PAS 5 as the speed picked up VERY fast to 20 mph!
This bike is stunningly beautiful. It really is in-person and my neighbor commented about its light green color the moment he saw me take it out for its first test ride.
Good solid lock with real keys, and the whole lock is rubber coated to protect against scratches and dings on your bike. As with any cable, it could always be a little longer… (I think even if it were 20 feet I could find a situation where I wish it were 21 feet!) but it is a nice compact set up so it carries well. Now the locking carabiner… IF anyone can tell me how to change the combo from 000, that might be cool too, but as it stands now, it is pretty useless and I would rather save a couple dollars than get a crappy locking carabiner.
